Apocalypse Now: Social Justice and Civil Rights at Hopkins

Professor Bill Leslie, who is writing a history of Hopkins, will examine the roots of social justice and civil rights activism at Hopkins and the creation of the psychedelic “Apocalypse” mural on the second floor of Levering in 1968. After the talk, Hopkins Retrospective will host a groovy reception from 5-6:30. Artist Bob Hieronimus will be on hand to interpret the mural and share his personal experiences creating it.
Alumni Weekend attendees should register for the event when registering for Alumni Weekend. All others may RSVP here: http://bit.ly/hopkinshistory
